Those of you who purchased The First Decade game pack way back in February of 2006 are still waiting on EA to fix some of the problems with a new patch (V1.03). While I don't put much hope on ever seeing another patch for TFD from EA (last one was April 2006), someone in the community stepped up to the plate and pinched hit.
According to Banshee from Project Perfect Mod, VK has released a patch for the original Command & Conquer, labeled (V1.05). This patch supports both the TFD version and original C&C version. The fixes to the game in his patch includes making C&C fully compatible with WINXP (no need to set "Windows 95 compatible mode"), and a fix for lan games support. The map border crash was also taken care of with VK's new patch. Those of you who downloaded the FREE C&C Game being offered by EA for the month of September, just apply the new V1.05 patch to it.

Auf Deutsch:
Laut oben stehender Info sorgt dieser Patch dafür, daß C&C - Der Tiberiumkonflikt bzw. Tiberian Dawn (sowohl in der originalen Version als auch in der in TfD) nun komplett mit XP kompatibel ist. So ist keine Kompatilitätseinstellung auf Windows 95 mehr erforderlich. Außerdem gibt es nun auch LAN Funktionalität! Zudem behebt er das leidige Problem der Abstürze wenn die Maus an den oberen Bildrand gelangt (viele von euch haben diese Erfahrung machen müssen).
